Gentle movement, slow stitching and guided meditation.
Ikigai refers to a state of wellbeing that arises from devotion to activities one enjoys, that also bring a sense of fulfilment.
I am delighted to be collaborating with local slow fashion and homewares brand Millie Scott Studio, to bring you an afternoon of mindfulness, creativity, gentle movement and deep relaxation. Honouring the spirit of Ikigai and the pursuit of wellness and fulfilment through activities we enjoy.
This gorgeous afternoon will include:

🌸A chance to learn sashiko, the beautiful, mindful Japanese art of visible and decorative mending
🌸Community chatter over tea & handmade snacks
🌸A gentle mindful interoception yoga flow, tuning in to what brings us joy
🌸A deep guided yoga nidra relaxation

Millie Scott Studio is a slow homewares and accessories brand which combines centuries of craftsmanship with the very real need for products that don’t damage the planet. Passionate about zero waste fashion and sustainable living, Millie Scott Studio is all about creating little luxuries that don’t cost the Earth.
If you have an old pair of jeans or something else that you would like to mend, please bring it along. Otherwise Millie will provide fabric to work on. Mats, pretty bolsters, cushions, blocks, blankets & eye-masks will all be provided for you, just wear something comfortable. No experience of yoga is necessary, these sessions are for all-comers. Our lovely venue in the gorgeous East Lothian village of Dirleton, will be sparkly, fragranced and welcoming.
If you wish to gift this to a friend, please book in as usual (remember not to use their email address if you want it to be a surprise!) - drop us an email info@interoceptionyoga.co.uk and we'll email you a voucher to share.
