An interoceptive approach to somatic inquiry

Exploring how somatic therapeutics, the practice of yoga and qigong, can help us to regulate the brain-mind-body axis. Learn practical approaches to perspective shifting using somatic movement, breath-work and meditation techniques. Carefully modulated spiral sequences, raise and lower our energetic levels to allow internal investigation of the physical, mental and emotional interconnections that shape our attitudes and behaviours beyond class and in life.

Laura Cram (Founder, Interoception Yoga)

Laura offers a unique combination of qualifications as an academic, who specialises in studying the neurophysiological interplay of head and heart - mind and body - in shaping our decision behaviours, and as a dedicated student and teacher of yoga and somatic therapeutics. She is an authorised Level 1 &2 Zhineng Qigong teacher. She is also a passionate coastal rower and a hardy year-round sea swimmer. Her approach is welcoming and inclusive. Her classes are based on extensive research and deep personal knowledge. She has a genuine love of teaching and enthusiasm for sharing the hidden benefits of yoga & qigong. Laura is a certified Five Filaments Specialist, having undertaking rigorous training in cutting edge anatomy, spiral movement sequences and the art of adjustment.

Online and In-person options

Online class blocks and one-to-one sessions allow access to students from the comfort of their own home, wherever they may be.

Laura is also available for retreats and one-off workshops, by arrangement.

In-person classes and one to ones are held in her beautiful home town of North Berwick in Scotland and in neighbouring East Lothian villages.
